Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) consumers should expecting a reduction in their December bill due to lower power rates this month.
Ceneco General Manager Sulpicio Jun Lagarde, Jr. said, based on their computation, the much-lower price of power being bought by the cooperative resulted in a 69¢ per kilowatt-hour adjustment.
The co-op official said the reduction also includes system loss charges.
Lagarde added, he is hoping the current situation will last until January of next year, which he attributed to the “cold weather” being experienced this month./DGB, WDJ
