Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia issued two separate appointment orders earlier this week naming Lawrence Villanueva and Eduardo Ravena to the Bacolod City Water District (Baciwa) Board of Directors.

The appointments, which will take effect on January 1, has Villanueva representing the business, commercial, and financial sector; and Ravena representing the professional sector.

Villanueva and Ravena will replace Cecilia Henares and Marichi Ramos, whose terms expire on December 31.

Leonardia said Baciwa submitted a list of possible directors, which he said was “proper procedure.”
