The 1st Mayor Joselito Malabor Super League Table Tennis Tournament, which closed last weekend at the Isabela Socio-Cultural Center, saw over 700 participate in the competition.

During his opening remarks, Philippine Table Tennis Federation Inc. President Ting C. Ledesma called Negros a “fertile” breeding ground for table tennis talent.

Before the tournament opened, Isabela Mayor Joselito Malabor highlighted the venue, calling it “ideal” as it is not air-conditioned and said it was a factor in organizers selecting Isabela to host the tournament./JSG, WDJ
