Venues ready for competition

Venues for the 2018 Palarong Panlalawigan, which opens on Sunday at the Panaad Park and Stadium, are reportedly ready for the week-long event.

Among the venues hosting competitions include the Panaad Park and Stadium for athletics, boxing, swimming, tennis, futsal, and secondary boys’ football; University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos as a secondary site for football and its covered court for secondary boys’ volleyball; Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center for secondary girls’ volleyball; Montalbo Volleyball Court for elementary boys’ and girls’ volleyball; Bacolod City National High School for archery, arnis, and softball; Ramon Torres National High School in Bago City for baseball; Pohang Badminton Center for badminton; STI-West Negros University for secondary basketball and elementary football; Negros Occidental Teachers’ Federation covered court for elementary basketball; BAYS Center for 3×3 basketball; 888 China Town Square Premier Mall for billiards; Arrows Badminton Center for men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics; rhythmic and aerobic gymnastics at the SM City Bacolod activity center; Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary School covered court for sepak takraw; Lopue’s Table Tennis Association playing center for table tennis; CityMall-Mandalagan for taekwondo; Negros Occidental High School quadrangle for wushu and pencat silat; Natalio G. Velez Sports and Cultural Center in Silay City for dancesport; and Riverside College for Paralympic games.

Delegations are expected to arrive on Saturday, December 15.
