Barangay Sum-ag Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman Jason Villarosa held the 1st Jason Villarosa Caddy Golf tournament at the Marapara Golf and Country Club in Barangay Bata, Bacolod City earlier this week.

The competition was divided into four division with Nelson Torena winning Class A, Joel Torrecampo taking Class B, RJ Torrecampo capturing the junior division, and Corazon Serdena winning the ladies division.

“This is one way of giving tribute to our caddies,” Villarosa said. “I want them to be happy also.”

“I also won several golf tournaments, thus I also organized a tournament for caddies,” he added, calling them the “unsung heroes” of the sport./DGB, WDJ
