Talisay City Police Station investigators are looking into last Tuesday’s heist at the city’s Honda-Negros Occidental showroom as a possible “inside job.”
Talisay City police chief, Police Superintendent Boots Aseo, said he has ordered investigators to thoroughly probe the incident.
He also confirmed the suspects carted away a total P44,000 in cash, along with the computer drives which contain the showroom’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
Aseo said they are coordinating with nearby establishments to see if the suspects were spotted on their CCTV footage in order to identify the culprits.
He also explained the reason why they are looking at the incident as an “inside job” is due to the robbers having knowledge as to where the safe and CCTV’s computer drives were hidden.
Last Tuesday night, four armed robbers entered the showroom and overpowered the establishment’s two guards./DGB, WDJ
