The Department of Education (DepEd) will begin administering the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) for academic year 2018-19 to Grade 9 students across the country next week, from December 12 to 13.

NCAE is a test that provides self-assessment, career awareness, and career guidance.

Test results will reveal students’ skills and abilities, while also attempting to match skills with job market demands.

The test also assesses one’s scientific ability, reading comprehension, verbal ability, mathematical ability, reasoning, among other criteria./WDJ
