A total of 217 participants recently completed the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Special Training for Employment Program with culminating ceremonies held in Silay City and Talisay City.
The enrollees, which comprised of fisherfolk, overseas Filipino workers, those who completed drug rehabilitation, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology inmates, were enrolled in a variety of courses including hilot, or wellness massage; breadmaking; cakemaking; food processing, which covered salting, curing, and smoking; and motorcycle and small engine system serving.
Present for the graduations were TESDA Provincial Director Jimmicio Daoaten; candidate for Negros Occidental third district congressman, Dr. Jose Francisco Benitez; among others./WDJ
