Cyclists ride to support road safety, environmental advocacy

Around 3,500 bicyclists recent rode for 48.3 kilometers, from the Capitol Park and Lagoon in Bacolod City to the Manuel Y. Torres Sports Complex in Bago City, to promote road safety and advocate for the environment.
The event sought to achieve cleaner air, promote road sharing between cyclists and motorists, and reduce their carbon footprint.
Provincial Environmental Management officer, Atty. Wilmon Peñalosa, said he expects more participants next year and anticipates improvements when it comes to road sharing./WDJ
