A total of 622 barangay captains are expected to attend today’s Provincial Drug Summit at the L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.

Negros Occidental Liga ng mga Barangay (Liga) President Juvy Pepillo said Dangerous Drug Board (DDB) chair Catalino Cuy will serve as keynote speaker, adding, DBB and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) officials were also invited to the event.

The provincial board member pointed out, one of her advocacies is to help in the campaign against illegal drugs at the barangay level.

The summit is organized by Liga and supported by the Negros Occidental provincial government, Department of Interior and Local Government, Department of Health, and DDB./DGB, WDJ
