Mixed martial arts event, the Tiger Black Brawl, is scheduled to take place at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod next year, January 19, where the Philippines will face Brazil.
Miguel Mosquera of Bacolod City is scheduled to meet Brazilian Afonso ‘Cego’ Celso, Jr. in the lightweight division. The Bacolodnon is a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a Pan Asian Jiu Jitsu International Open gold medalist.
Celso, meanwhile, is a second degree black belt in Brazilian martial art Luta Livre and a black belt in Muay Thai.
Another Negrense, Intoy ‘Pretty Boy’ Paltingca of Dumaguete City is set to face Danish fighter Marco Birch in the 160-lb division.
A total of 10 professional and semi-pro fights will take place during the event./JSG, WDJ
