A Grade 8 student was found dead over the weekend in their Victorias City home.

Police refused to identified the victim.

Based on a statement provided by the victim’s aunt, they were found hanging inside their room around 5:30 p.m.

She went on to say the minor recently stopped attending school after reportedly beginning a relationship with a classmate. However, after reviewing text messages on the victim’s phone, it appears their partner wanted to break up.
