The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) recently opened a branch in Barangay San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras, marking the agency’s 15th branch in the Visayas.
According to Guimaras Governor Samuel Gumarin, who was present for the opening, the branch a “big leap in the provision of curative and health services.”
Guimaras Vice Governor John Edward G. Gando noted the convenience the branch will provide for locals, pointing out, travel to Iloilo will no longer be necessary when seeking PCSO medical assistance.
In the Western Visayas, PCSO currently maintains branches in Iloilo, Negros Occidental, Capiz, Aklan, and Antique./WDJ
