P240K worth of drugs confiscated in Brgy. 2

At least P240,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized late Monday evening following a buy-bust operation at Purok Cagaycay in Barangay 2, Bacolod City.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Rona Saldua, Liezl Largo, Rodalyn Maraviles, and Mark Cesar Galo. Cops also apprehended a minor, whom they have requested to not be named.
Based on a statement released by the Bacolod City Police Office, City Drug Enforcement Unit operatives recovered a total 12 sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects, who were all identified as street-level targets.
They also recovered the P1,000 in marked money, a coin purse, and a metal box.
Drug-related charges are now being prepared against the arrested suspects, while the minor was turned over to the city’s Social Development Center./DGB, WDJ
