Bacolod City teams win

Bacolod City teams recently earned wins in the ongoing Beach Volleyball Republic tour stop in Dumaguete City.

The University of St. La Salle (USLS), currently in second place in Bracket B of the men’s division, beat Foundation University, 21-11, 21-10; and National University, 21-15, 21-14. However, they lost to Tiger Wings 21-19, 13-21, 15-13.

In the women’s division, the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) is tied for first in Bracket A; while Bacolod Team leads Bracket B.

UNO-R defeated Cebu 21-14, 21-16; Dipolog 21-2, 21-10; and Perlas-Air Force 21-17, 21-5.

In Bracket B, the Bacolod Team beat USLS 23-21, 21-13; Philippine Air Force-2 21-12, 21-11; and the University of Santo Tomas 21-12, 18-21, 15-13./JSG, WDJ
