The Negros Occidental provincial government warned local food establishments of unauthorized transactions involving customers using the Governor’s Office to reserve and pay for food.
The issue came about after the Provincial Capitol received complaints from various Bacolod City restaurants claiming customers were making chargeable transactions using the Governor’s Office.
Acting Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Dr. Lucille Gelvolea, said the provincial government will not tolerate such actions and informed restaurant owners only personnel and staff of the Governor’s Office can authorize such transactions./WDJ
