Police Station 5 (PS5) investigators have yet to determine the culprits behind last Tuesday’s attack on a construction site in Barangay Alangilan, Bacolod City.

PS5 commander, Police Chief Inspector Carmelo Nermal, said they have not yet identified the suspects. However, based on the information gathered from the investigation, the attackers consisted of five armed men wearing bonnet masks.

The suspects were also reported to have asked the property’s caretaker about the location of hidden firearms in the building.

Nermal, however, stated the armed group failed to recover any guns and instead destroyed the building’s glass windows and tried to set the establishment on fire.

The suspects then shot several rounds in the air before fleeing towards the mountainous area of Talisay City, Negros Occidental./DGB, WDJ
