Huminova Tigers, JSY Transport advance to the semifinals

Huminova Tigers and JSY Transport both advanced to the Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade, Inc. (AACI) Inter-Company Basketball Tournament semifinals following recent wins at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym. Huminova Tigers beat Sweet Crystals Sugar, 66-55; while JSY Transport defeated Organic Solution, 80-65.

Huminova Tigers opened with a 17-11 lead; however, Sweet Crystals Sugar went on to take a 34-31 lead at the half.

In the second half, the eventual winners dominated scoring.

RB Chua led the victory with 16 points, followed by Ramon Khey added 11 and Ton Ton Chua scoring 10.

In the other game, Organic Solutions led 38-33 at the half; but, heading into the closing period, JSY Transport pulled ahead to a 56-53 advantage.

Yan Yan Dy led the victory with 21 points, followed by Shinley Uy adding 11./JSG, WDJ
