Pulupandan school wins fancy drill competition in Bago City

As part of the annual Al Cinco de Noviembre observance in Bago City, the 10th Bago City Invitational Fancy Drill Competition was also held, which saw Enriqueta Montilla de Esteban Memorial High School of Pulupandan take top honors this year, winning P20,000 and a trophy.

Murcia’s Lopez Jaena National High School came in second place, while Bacolod City National High School (BCNHS) took third.

Meanwhile, among individual awards, the Murcia-based school was named Best in Street Performance, Best in Uniform, and Most Disciplined; BCNHS won Best Narration and Best Production Number; and STI-West Negros University platoon leader, Cadet Colonel Justine Jade Y. Cabalhin, was named Best Platoon Leader.

According to Bago City Mayor Nicholas Yulo, the competition seeks to keep Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and Citizen Army Training programs active in the province./WDJ
