Local transport group, the Federation of Bacolod Drivers Association (Febacda), lauded the recent rollback on the price of oil.

In a radio interview yesterday morning, Febacda President Elizabeth Katalbas said they are thankful for the rollback as it will “provide relief for drivers and transport operators, especially since the month of December is considered a time when people make a lot of purchases.”

Katalbas hopes the rollback will continue until next year.

Earlier, oil companies in the country announced a P1 roll back on diesel and gasoline in response to the rollback on oil prices in the world market.

Katalbas also reminded transport operators to acquire new fare tariffs in order to avoid being penalized by Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board officials./DGB, WDJ
