Winners declared in street and arena dance competition

 

Barangay Tangub, Education Training Center School II (ETCS II), and Mandalagan National High School were recently declared the winners of the MassKara Festival street and arena dance competition, which came to a close over the weekend.

Tangub won the contest’s barangay category, along with picking up Best in Original Music. Meanwhile, Barangay 18, which won Best in Choreography and Best in Costume, came in second place.

In the schools division, ETCS II won the elementary competition, along with nearly sweeping the special awards, taking Best in Choreography, Best in Original Music, Best in Mask, and Best in Costume.

In addition, Mandalagan National High School won the high school category. They were also awarded Best in Original Music, Best in Mask, and Best in Costume./WDJ
