The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. (Ceneco) revealed residential rates for October 2018 came to P11.6334 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), about 22¢ lower than last month’s P11.8574/kWh rate.
As with previous reports, the utility co-op showed most of their revenue went to generation, transmission, and system loss fees, which came to P8.3624/kWh, lower than last month’s rate of P8.9396/kWh. They also reduced the amount allocated for the charges from 75.39 percent to 71.88 percent.
The second-highest expenditure went towards the value-added tax, which comprised 8.17 percent of earnings, costing 95¢/kWh.
