UNO-R wins elementary football title

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) won the elementary football competition of the 38th Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) season by beating Trinity Christian School, 3-0, last weekend at the STI-West Negros University football field.

Rounin Magalona opened scoring with a goal in the 7th minute, with Lester Diopido adding one in the 34th and Rob Ramos hitting the back of the net in the 38th.

UNO-R also won the right to represent NOPSSCEA in the upcoming Palarong Panlalawigan in December./JSG, WDJ
