Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia recently released a memorandum ordering the formation of a task force ahead this year’s Halloween observance, which begins next week, including All Saints’ Day on November 1 and All Souls’ Day on November 2.
Task Force All Saints Day 2018 will be led by Executive Assistant Ernesto Pineda, who heads the city’s market coordinating and monitoring task force.
The task force’s primary duty will be monitoring the implementation of regulations at the city’s public markets, public plaza, and public cemeteries.
The City Treasurer’s Office, City Permits and Licensing Division, Bacolod Traffic Authority Office, and Department of Public Services will also be represented in the task force.
The Philippine Coast Guard in Negros earlier announced they had begun preparations for the Halloween observance./DGB, WDJ
