A suspected drug dealer was arrested Sunday morning by Manapla Municipal Police Station anti-drug operatives in the town’s Barangay San Pablo.
Police identified the suspect as 30-year-old Marjohne Morales, a resident of Hacienda Aniceta in the said barangay.
Manapla Municipal police chief, Police Senior Inspector Julius Caesar Colado, said Morales is tagged as the town’s top drug personality.
The suspect was arrested after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu.
Police recovered an additional four sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, an electronic weighing scale, a .45 caliber pistol with two magazines, 10 .45 calibers bullet, the P500 buy-bust money, and P6,000 in “boodle money.”
Cops estimate the value of the seized drugs at P180,000.
Morales, who is currently detained at the Manapla Municipal Police Station, faces possession and sale of illegal drugs, and illegal possession of firearms charges./DGB, WDJ
