The Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) is currently conducting a familiarization tour of Iloilo City and Bacolod City for key opinion leaders, celebrities, media figures, and social media influencers from Malaysia.

The tour began yesterday and is expected to run until next week, October 30.

“[DOT-6] is proud and confident these visitors will enjoy the grandeur and beauty of the Western Visayas,” said DOT-6 director, Atty. Helen J. Catalbas. “DOT-6 believes that tourist destinations and festivals in Western Visayas should be exposed to the wider audiences.”

The highlight of the tour will include experiencing the MassKara Festival.

The tour is being coordinated in conjunction with the Tourism Promotions Board./WDJ
