Following reports revealing the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) in Bacolod City is operating at a 207 to 213 percent bed occupancy, hospital officials appealed for patience as they looked to addressed the issue.
According to hospital chief, Dr. Julius Drilon, bed sharing between two to four patients is prevalent throughout the facility.
He also projected an increase in admissions due to various seasonal diseases.
Last month, then-Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go led the opening of the new Malasakit Center at CLMMRH.
He explained, the center is a one-stop shop for those seeking medical services and financial assistance./WDJ
