A suspected drug dealer was arrested late Thursday afternoon following a buy-bust operation at the Buenavista Subdivision in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City.

Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Alfrederick Diaz, a resident of Purok Camansi in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City.

Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said Diaz was arrested after he handed over one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P7,000.

When cops searched the suspect, they recovered a total of seven elongated and three medium sized sachets of suspected shabu weighing 10 grams and valued at P120,000.

Polines added, Diaz was on the station’s drug target list.

Diaz is detained at the Silay City Police Station and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
