Social Security System (SSS) representatives confirmed the government agency would be participating in the Iloilo City government’s “Pag-ulikid sang Syudad,” or Care Program, which is intended to enhance city services pertaining to concerns on healthcare, environment, education, drug-use, and poverty.

“SSS Management has appreciated the efforts of [Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III],” said SSS Accounts head Marivic Gonzales. “That is why we would like also to join the ‘Pag-Ulikid’ program.”

“We aim to make the people even aware of our programs,” she added.

According to SSS-6 Assistant Branch Manager Leo Santillan, “If you want to avail the services of SSS, you can bring your birth certificate, marriage certificate, and valid identification card.”

“We will also cater to inquiries or clarifications during the event,” he added.

The agency is scheduled to join an upcoming event next week, October 26./WDJ
