Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) director, Police Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao, yesterday advised police officers in the region to refrain from campaigning for candidates in the upcoming 2019 midterm elections.

In a radio interview, Bulalacao said cops caught campaigning will be removed from the service, affirming, the police force is non-partisan and personnel should not be siding with any candidate.

He also urged the public to file complaints against officers seen violating the order, adding, they can take pictures of the violating officer and include it in their complaint.

Bulalacao added, cops deployed to areas where they have family members running will be transferred./DGB, WDJ
