Competition attracts 31 schools

The 2018 University Games (UniGames) open tomorrow, October 21, at the Lamberto Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete City. Arellano University and Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. President Peter Cayco will serve as guest of honor.

Earlier this year, it was reported a total of 48 schools were invited.

The participating schools include Adamson University, Aklan Catholic College, Arellano University, Asian College of Science and Technology, Ateneo de Davao University, Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle University (DLSU), Foundation University, Holy Angel University, Jose Maria College, La Carlota City College, National University, Negros Oriental State University, Rizal Technological University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Saint Louis University, University of the East, University of Mindanao (UM), UM-Tagum, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, University of Perpetual Help System (UPH) DALTA, University of San Agustin, University of St. La Salle, University of Southern Philippines Foundation, University of Santo Tomas, and University of the Philippines-Diliman.

Among the confirmed schools not included in the prior report include DLSU-Dasmariñas, Leyte Normal University, University of Northern Philippines, and UPH-Laguna.
