Eight Ceres-Negros FC players have been called up by the Philippine national football team, the Azkals, ahead of their international friendly against Oman, scheduled to take place tomorrow in Doha, Qatar.

Defenders Amani Aguinaldo and Martin Steuble; midfielders Kevin Ingreso, Paul Mulders, Manuel and Mike Ott; and strikers Curt Dizon and Patrick Reichelt were named to the national team roster.

The two countries are meeting for the time in 17 years. Their previous matches were during the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, where the Middle Eastern side won 2-0 and 7-0./JSG, WDJ
