Two people were injured after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a Police Station 8 (PS8) patrol vehicle over the weekend along Araneta Street in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.
Police identified the victims as 32-year-old Reno Arthur Bacan and his wife, 30-year-old Gian Bacan, both residents of the Florenceville Subdivision in the said barangay.
PS8 traffic investigator, Police Officer 2 Jomar Dura, said the patrol car driven by Senior Police Officer 2 Elton Exaltado was exiting the station’s compound and was executing a turn toward the southbound lane when the victims’ motorcycle slammed into their vehicle.
During the incident, Dura noted their patrol vehicle had its blinkers on when the collision occurred.
Both victims were immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital after the incident./DGB, WDJ
