Funds will be disbursed retroactively
The Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod recently approved the release of monthly allowances for 13 Public Attorney’s Office lawyers.
Recipients will receive P3,000 a month, with funds being disbursed retroactively to reflect distributions beginning from January of this year.
“The allowance of P3,000 is certainly reasonable,” Bacolod City Councilor Caesar Distrito insisted.
The allowances will be funded by an earlier approved appropriation ordinance./WDJ
