The Energy Development Corporation (EDC) recently provided school supplies to over 3,800 students in Bago City and Murcia.

Mailum Elementary School, R.M. Araneta Elementary School, C.A. Dormido Elementary School, Najaba Elementary School in Bago City; and Minoyan Elementary School, Balasyang Elementary School, and F. Barandiaran Elementary School in Murcia were the recipient schools.

“The annual gift-giving is our own way of motivating [students] and keeping these kids in school so they can pursue their dreams when they grow up,” said EDC Community Partnerships, External Relations, and Watershed Management Team head Norreen Bautista.

Murcia Vice Mayor Gerardo Rojas was present for the distribution at Minoyan Elementary School, where he also delivered an address./WDJ
