AACI Transport, Sweet Crystals Sugar win

AACI Transport recently beat Basecom, 90-75, while Sweet Crystals Sugar defeated Organic Solutions, 74-64, in the ongoing Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade, Inc. (AACI) Inter-Company Basketball Tournament game at the St. John’s Institute Msgr. John Liu Activity Center.

AACI Transport led 49-40 at one point in the game, following 14 points from Jason Yap. They went on to maintain their advantage, leading 69-54 later in the game, and eventually capturing the win.

Yap led the win with 23 points, followed by Emil Agana adding 22, Justin Kilayko – 14, and Jan Jan Young – 13.

In the other game, Sweet Crystals Sugar took a 40-31 lead; however, Organic Solutions won on to reduce the gap to 55-51 as the game continued. The eventual winners went on to claim victory after their opponents were unable to sustain their momentum.

Robbie Jalandoon led the win with 21 points, followed by Yan Yan Muyco and Nikol Medina each adding 13, along with Bren Tajonera scoring 10./JSG, WDJ
