DOT-6 opens observance today at Robinsons Place Jaro
The Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) will open their National Statistics Month observance today at Robinsons Place Jaro in Iloilo City.
Among the other days’ events include a motorcade beginning along Muelle Loney and ending at the mall; along with performances by Experience Western Visayas First Hiligaynon Rap-Song Competition winners Tumandok Crew, and novelty artist and San Jose de Buenavista Town Councilor Dante Beriong.
A statistical exhibit will also be open to the public, beginning today and running until October 26.
DOT-6 director, Atty. Helen J. Catalbas, said statistics are important for “identifying the tourism destinations and promoting sustainable tourism.”/WDJ
