A hog buyer and a newly-identified drug suspect were arrested late Tuesday evening following a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Rocky Boy Agoyong and 18-year-old Dominic Luntao, both residents of the said barangay.

Kabankalan City Police Station said Agoyong was the primary subject of the operation as he is presently on the station’s street-level drugs watchlist, while Luntao was arrested as he was on the premises when the deal was made.

Police recovered five sachets of suspected shabu worth P12,000, drug paraphernalia, and suspected drug money amounting to P1,204.

Cops also recovered a 9mm pistol with six live bullets from Agoyong.

Both suspects are facing drug-related charges, while Agoyong is facing an additional charge of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition./DGB, WDJ
