The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation-Region VI (PhilHealth-6) is looking to focus on effective information dissemination through their Social Health Insurance Education Series campaign, which will be making a stop at the L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City today.

“We hope to strengthen our partnership with key players so that they will actively advocate as well as educate their constituents about PhilHealth,” said PhilHealth-6 Vice President Lourdes Diocson. “Government Information Officers and the tri-media have been our partners since time immemorial.”

Information officers and media outlets are expected to attend the event, which will discuss a variety of topics, including the National Health Insurance Program.

The government healthcare provider hopes participants will “gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of PhilHealth.”

Among those expected to attend today’s event include PhilHealth chief operating officer, Executive Vice President Ruben John Basa; Health Care Finance Policy Sector senior vice president, Dr. Israel Francis Pargas; and Corporate Affairs Group vice president, Dr. Shirley Domingo./WDJ
