Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor, Sr. led a groundbreaking over the weekend for a P52.8 million road concreting project in Oton, Iloilo.

The governor called the project, which will span 3.5 kilometers and connect Barangays San Antonio and Lambuyao, along with the Abilay areas, a “lifelong dream.”

The project, under the supervision of F. Gurrea Construction Inc., is expected to run for 230 calendar days.

Also present for the event were Department of the Interior and Local Government-Region VI (DILG-6) director, Atty. Anthony Nuyda; DILG provincial director Teodora Sumagaysay; Oton Mayor Carina Flores; local town and barangay officials; among others./WDJ
