Seven Negrenses on the team roster

Filipino football club Dreaming Futbol United won the 2018 Borneo Football Cup Under-12 championships last week by defeating Indonesia, 1-0, in the finals at the Stadium UMS in Malaysia.

A single goal from Joshua Allones of the University of St. La Salle-Integrated School (USLS-IS) was enough to capture the title.

Other Negrense players on the squad included John Matthew of USLS-IS, Jed Amiel Tan of Trinity Christian School, Anthony Joseph Galve of Bata National High School, Miel Dee Marcong of Maranatha Christian Academy; alongside Earl John Sinconiegue from Bago City and Zedric Elijah Ballesteros from San Carlos City./JSG, WDJ
