The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently conducted trainings in Talisay City which focused on providing housewives and prison inmates with skills to enter the workforce.
A total of 20 housewives from the city’s Barangays 12 and 12A completed a 12-day cake-making training.
Each participant who completed the training received a certificate of competency.
Meanwhile, an 18-day hilot training was conducted at the local Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facility, where 17 trainees received national certificates.
Earlier this month, TESDA began hilot training for 18 participants in EB Magalona.
All the trainings were facilitated through a partnership with the office of Negros Occidental third district Rep. Alfredo Benitez./WDJ
