The Victorias Milling Company (VMC) Interschool Art Contest arrives in Bacolod City this weekend, September 29, where a total of 52 students will be competing at the The Gallery Orange.
The contest previously visited the Sidlakan Village Tourism Center in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, where 16 local students took part in the competition.
VMC hopes to inspire young people to constantly improve themselves and to not be content with current capabilities.
According to a release by the company, the contest, which has been running since 2013, serves as “a platform to discover and hone talents of student artists.”
Final judging will take place on Sunday, September 30, at Base Center Hall B in Bacolod City’s Barangay Mandalagan./WDJ
