A man was arrested by Murcia municipal police yesterday morning after he was caught brandishing a gun at the town’s food park.

Police identified the suspect as Albert Villanueva.

Based on reports released by police, cops were conducting a routine patrol when they spotted Villanueva brandishing a .38 caliber revolver.

Police immediately arrested the suspect after Villanueva failed to show pertinent documentation permitting him to carry the said firearm.

Villanueva faces illegal possession of firearms charges and is detained at the Murcia Municipal Police Station./DGB, WDJ
