The Bacolod City Health Office (CHO) recently released new figures showing Barangay Mansilingan with the highest number of “dog bite” cases in the city.
Based on CHO records from January to July of 2018, around 4,642 cases of dog bites were recorded this year, with 350 reported in Barangay Mansilingan.
Meanwhile, Negros Occidental reported 18,910 bite cases associated with rabies last year, with the province ranking first among human rabies-related deaths in the region for 2016 and 2017./DGB, WDJ
