Bacolod City wins a total of 33 medals

Bacolod City ended their Batang Pinoy National Finals campaign, which was recently held in Baguio City, with a total of 10 gold, 10 silver, and 13 bronze medals.

“Congratulations to our medalists and all those who contributed to make this a successful campaign,” said Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia. “We are proud of our Batang Pinoy contingent.”

Bacolod City dominated the arnis competition, taking home four gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals. They also won three gold medals in athletics events. Gold medals were also earned in table tennis, karate-do, and taekwondo. In the latter, the city earned a total nine medals, with an additional two silver and six bronze medals./WDJ
