Around P320,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated Tuesday afternoon following a buy-bust operation at Bangga Patyo in Barangay 4, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Anthony Barbella, a resident of the said area.
Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said they arrested Barbella after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop.
A search of the suspect yielded a total of seven sachets of suspected shabu, the P200 “subscribed money,” and marked money amounting to P3,100.
Barbella faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at the Silay City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
