Three injured after bus slams into truck in Bago City

At least three people were injured after a bus collided with a truck yesterday morning along the national highway in Barangay Taloc, Bago City.

Police identified the injured as 28-year-old Joey Patua, 21-year-old Rolyn Jean Tanio, and 60-year-old Lynnaine Rodriguez.

Based on investigations by Bago City police, the truck carrying chickens and driven by 48-year-old Emmanuel Diogenes was heading south. However, upon executing a right turn, he was struck by a Roadstar bus driven by 33-year-old Johnny Tinamisan.

The impact caused extensive damage to the front part of the bus, as well as the right side of the truck.

The injured were immediately brought to the city’s district hospital for treatment./DGB, WDJ
