The Social Security System (SSS) recently recognized Watchmen Daily Journal with the SSS-Visayas West 1 Division naming the newspaper “Best Media Partner for Print” during their 2018 Balikat ng Bayan awards ceremony earlier this week at the Planta Centro Hotel and Residences.

The award recognizes entities compliant with social security laws regarding coverage, collection, distributing benefits, among other policies.

While Watchmen Daily Journal was recognized on the national level, DYRL Abyan Radio was honored in the division level radio category.

The national ceremony is scheduled for Friday at the SSS Building-Ramon Magsayasay Hall in Quezon City
