NOCHP satellite office inaugurated in Silay City

A Negros Occidental Comprehensive Health Program (NOCHP) satellite office was inaugurated yesterday at the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City.

The event coincided with the eighth anniversary of the program, which seeks to provide comprehensive health care for low-income residents. NOCHP members receive free out-patient care and subsidized in-patient care at provincial government-run hospitals and other participating government hospitals.

As of August 31, NOCHP boasts a total of 276,465 member-families, with 368,541 benefiting from the program.

Total hospital expenditure exceeded P200 million.
